Thomson Muthama is a Peace Building and Conflict Management practitioner, an experienced researcher in applied research in Peace and Human Security and also a Leadership and Strategic Management expert. He has worked and consulted for a number of regional and national organizations as a data analyst including; National Steering Committee on Peace building and Conflict Management (NSC-Conflict Analysis Group), Kenya National Focal Point on Small Arms and Light weapons (KNFP), Regional Centre on Small Arms Control (RECSA) and other local non-governmental institutions. Mr. Muthama is a Steering Committee member of Kenya Action Network on Small Arms and Light Weapons (KANSA) and also Conflict Analysis Group (CAG) of the National Steering Committee on Peace building and Conflict Management (NSC). He presently heads the research team at Security Research and Information Centre (SRIC), an institution which specializes in conducting applied research on human security. Mr. Muthama holds a BSC degree in Mathematics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management (PGDip) from University of Nairobi. He also holds a Master’s Degree (MBA) in Strategic Management and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Strategic Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
